Lotion, Fragrances, Ghost, Retrograde

It’s been a few weeks since my last posting so I have a few different things I wanted to share.

First, I have the lotion up on the website. It comes in an amber 4 oz pump bottle and has all kinds of good stuff in it for your skin. My family has been using this recipe for about 8 yrs now and they really like it because it sinks right in and doesn’t leave a greasy feel on their hands. Our 2 newest fragrances are Dark Moon and Sanguine Moon. Dark Moon is a blend of blackberry, raspberry & patchouli leaves with violet & rosewood oils. This is a fruity & heady fragrance.

Sanguine Moon is my new favorite fragrance at the moment. It is dripping with blood orange, citrus, patchouli, musky amber and a pinch of cedarwood. It’s earthy and unique.

The sugar scrubs and another new fragrance will be coming within the next week! This new fragrance is beautiful, alluring and magickal ::smile:: You’re going to love it!

Now for my ghostie investigation. This past Friday I went on my second investigation at a local firehouse with the Paranormal 911 Investigations team and boy was it great!

The upstairs of the firehouse is where the kitchen, locker room and sleeping quarters are located and that’s where we started. Each of us had a piece of equipment (K2 meter, dowsing rods, infrared light, camera, etc), I had the K2 meter. We started asking if anyone wanted to speak to us and the dowsing rods started to cross, which means yes! We then proceeded to ask other questions like, who are you, how old are you, what year she was from, etc. My meter never went off but I was receiving names and feelings from them. After awhile I was handed the dowsing rods and that’s when the fun began for me!

We ended up communicating with 2 souls, Rachel and Lisa. Rachel was a 23 yr old girl and she was only moving the right dowsing rod while communicating. I felt like something was wrong with the left side of her body and after asking a series of questions we found out that she had had a stroke on her left side and the intuitive that was with us verified this. We communicated with Rachel for about 30 minutes and then Lisa came through. Lisa was a very young girl that actually came with one of the gals (Lori) that was there investigating with us. Lisa was attached to Lori’s son. After asking many questions we found out that Lisa, Lori and Lori’s son had all been connected in a previous life together.

I had a great time and I truly enjoy working with the Paranormal 911 team, they know what they’re doing and I’ve learned a lot from them. While I’m just getting my feet wet, I hope to go on many more investigations with this team.

I also want to mention that Mercury is in retrograde right now. What does this mean? It means that from Earth’s perspective Mercury appears to be moving backwards. This event will last for 3 wks, Mercury will go direct on May 11th. Mercury usually turns retrograde 3 times a year but this year it will happen 4 times, oh boy! lol

When Mercury is retrograde things go bonkers. Mercury controls thinking, communication, transportation, education, etc. Communication of all types (mail, web, talking, etc), traveling & appointments get messed up and you lose things. Electronics & vehicles tend to break down or cause us distress as well….. Just ask my son, he had a car issue that cost him about $100 to fix yesterday! Situations from your past may come back and revisit you as well.

During these times we need to lay low and not start anything new. Don’t sign documents or start a new project. Finish up things that you’ve started, do a lot of meditation and inward ‘house cleaning’. Read, read, read. Pick up a good book and sink yourself into it. Stay grounded.

This is a time of reflection & finishing projects. Hold on for the ride, it may be a little bumpy!

Healing with the Fairies

After reading Healing with the Fairies by Doreen Virtue, I picked up a deck of the oracle cards a few weeks ago. It’s a 44 card deck that comes with a booklet to explain the meanings of the cards. The illustrations of the fairys on each card are absolutely beautiful.

I have several tarot decks and to me this deck is more of a ‘what do I need to work on today’ type of deck. Every morning before the kids get up and the hectic day begins I sit quietly at the kitchen table with my cup of coffee and my fairy deck. I shuffle the cards and ask the fairies to tell me what I need to know today. It never fails, I always pull the card of something I either need to do or work on personally.

Today I pulled ‘New Location’. This card has come up MANY times for me so it’s speaking loud and clear that this is going to happen. The short version of the meaning is: A change of venue is coming your way. Most likely, you are moving to a new residence. However, this card could also mean that you’re changing the location of your employment.

Well, guess what? Even though I am a biz owner and work out of my home, just yesterday I was hired part-time at Wal-Mart. Yep! This card has been coming up and out of the deck for 2 wks now and I got the job yesterday.

Other meanings could be that I get my products put in another store, I get my own store front or a new wholesale account. Since we just moved into this house I’m not banking on moving again for awhile! lol

The booklet has a short meaning, a longer meaning with more detail and then an Affirmation that goes along with it. The affirmation for this particular card is: I now live and work in a safe, comfortable, spacious environment, in a wonderful location.

After I do my daily card, I reshuffle the cards and do a daily 3 card spread. For my daily 3 card spread today I pulled: ‘Happily Ever After’ ~ ‘Making New Friends’ ~ ‘Higher Consciousness’ The meaning for each of these cards I am actually experiencing right now. I am empowering myself with positive people, thoughts and places. I told my friend Abbie the other day how I’m experiencing the ‘Making New Friends’ card.

I would recommend this deck to anyone, even if you don’t like or believe in tarot cards this is a deck of inspiration, beauty and positive uplifting messages. You may be surprised what the fairies have to tell you!

Ghost Hunting

I’m so excited! I just signed up for my second ghost hunt (I like to call it a soul searching)!!

My first search was last year and my 16 yr old son went with me. Chase believes in the spirit world but he likes to see proof. We went to a very active haunted firehouse here in town and even though I watch all the ghost hunt shows on TV I really didn’t know what to expect or what I’d run up against.

We arrived at the firehouse around 8 pm, and met in the main room where Mary, one of the co-founders of the group, told us the history of the firehouse, about the equipment we were going to use and what we were going to do. Once she explained everything to us then we took a quick tour of the firehouse with lights on so that we could see stairs, rooms, doors, etc.

Then the fun began!

There were 4 or 5 of us in each group and each group had one person from Paranormal 911 with them. There were others stationed at the ‘control center’ watching us go from room to room. One group started in the top of the firehouse and the others went to the basement. Of course, I started out in the basement.

The very first thing that happened to me was that my flashlight went dead. Chase and I stopped at the store and bought brand NEW batteries before going on the hunt. I couldn’t believe that those batteries died as soon as I walked into the room. Jeff who is a medium, told me that spirits use the energy from our equipment to manifest to communicate.

Once in the basement I was handed dowsing rods. Dowsing rods or divining rods can be used for a multitude of things like, finding water, gemstones, oil, lost items or gravesites. I held them in my hands and we started asking questions in each room. Back in the very early 1900′s the firehouse had jail cells in the basement and there were 2 or 3 cells in this one.

I experienced 3 things during the hunt. In one room I mentally heard the name Rachel. I remember this because I have a neice named Rachel. Come to find out Rachel was the name of the daughter of one of the prisoners held in the jail cell we were in.

The next thing we did was go out into the middle of room and they had me sit in a chair in a dark corner of the room holding the rods. While Jeff was video taping, Mary and the others were asking questions. There were 2 spirits that came through and the only name I can remember now is Charlie. Charlie and I had a special connection, he liked me and I felt comfortable with him. He made those rods and swing and vibrate with such force!

Then something happened that I couldn’t explain at the time. I felt that someone/something was pressing against the top of my head. It felt like someone was standing behind me with their chin or elbow pressing the top of my head, it was that type of pressure. I had NEVER felt this before without a REAL live person standing behind me doing it.

Not until about 3 or 4 months ago did I find out what it was. During a meditation I felt this pressure again and immediately was concerned that something was happening to me. Once I was finished with the meditation I rubbed the top of my head and made sure to pay attention during the day if it happened again.

To make a long story short, this has happened many times since and it’s always during my magickal workings, meditation or when I’m making products and focusing on drawing intent into the products.

After talking to several people all of whom are mediums and psychics. they all told me the same thing. It is me opening up my crown chakra or intuition to receive messages. I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to hear that. I have been wanting to use my gifts to be able to communicate with the spirit world.

The last thing that happened was when we were upstairs and started communicating with a soul that had done some hidious things to a woman. We all started smelling a rotten, foul, gross stinch and this was him coming through loud and clear. I still had the rods in my hands and was sitting on a bench while everything was being video taped. I mentally heard the word ‘rape’ and that he was a cop and that there were some ‘not so nice’ things done to women downstairs in one of the ‘party’ rooms. The women he raped was pregnant with his baby and he killed her to cover up the pregnancy because he was a married man.

After the investigation this was verified from records and from the founders of Paranormal 911.

I had an awesome time, I felt charged while communicating with the spirits and I can’t wait to go again. I’ll make sure I report back after the next investigation on April 16th!
